History & Facilities
|
Evana Tool & Engineering, Inc., was founded in 1963. The 100,000-sq. ft. facility is located in Evansville, Indiana, and is now part of the fastest growing corridor of Southwestern Indiana, where the bordering states of Illinois and Kentucky meet along the Ohio River.
Evana made its mark by creating dies, fixtures, molds and some tooling for local manufacturers. By the early '70s, it was clear that Evana Tool & Engineering would graduate from tooling and diemaking to building small-scale automation. During the mid '70s and '80s, the company was a prominent source of cartridge handlers and indexing dials.

Sold to a group of investors within the company in 1987, Evana continued to expand its capabilities, and earned a reputation as a high quality manufacturer of systems integration.
In January 1997, Evana was purchased by Phillips Service Industries Inc., (PSI), an international service and manufacturing company based in Livonia, Michigan. Today, Evana Automation Specialists continues to be an organization dedicated to building the world's best in automated manufacturing. With more than 60 employees, Evana Automation Specialists enjoys a national reputation as full systems integrators built on innovation, cutting-edge technology and manufacturing excellence.
